Rubicon and other things

Poor Emily and her family can't catch a break!!!!!
The day started off well, we walked cross country and all of the courses looked pretty easy this fall! The show jumping appeared to be windy but pretty standard for Rubicon. We had high expectations, couldn't wait to get started...........and then Charlie had a fit and got stuck in the trailer/hay net.
He is fine, a little cut up but needless to say, Em did not ride him!
I will tell you though. She would have been in the top three!!!!!
In other news, The Beast seems to be back in action!!!
We will be starting both mares back up after a little rest/vacation.
Both my girls will be getting ready for dressage and jumping lessons, from Susan G White, Stephen Bradley, and Fred Weber. We may also sneak in a clinic or two.
We will continue work through the holiday seasons and then perhaps take another break sometime in the more snowy months!
We are getting ready for some dressage shows and jumper shows, but first, next week is Loch Moys short course!
Red Hawkes students Alexis L and Julia F are prepared and ready to go!!!!!
We will be going to Full Moon Farm, and then getting ready for Serra Valleys jumper show.
We have all volunteers and riders organized and ready to go, and can not wait for a day of friends, food, jumping, ribbons and most importantly FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
