Weekend Wrap Up!!!

Saturday was a day off for my horses.
My three ladies had the best XC school EVER!!!!
We had to be very mindful of the hard ground, but what a great school!
Annie and Rae continue to make leaps and bounds of progress. She really had a moment when her position at the top of Rae's bascule clicked in.
Katie finally stopped being so critical of herself, and rode in "the moment". It all came together then. Katie has all the right instincts, and responses. It was nice to see it come together for her as well.
Julia had a great ride on Princess. A solo trailer trip.....WHO HOOOO, and a lot of really nice canters to her fences!
Julia also had all the pieces fall into place.

Sunday an early morning. 40 minutes of Yoga then Beast tested out our "hill".
At my lesson with Sharon, we talked about fitness, canter sets etc. We are on the look out for a "hill" that takes a minute to get to the top in our fitness canter.
This is to be a back up if the ground is to hard to do full canter sets.
Well, I was pleasantly surprised that my hill at Darenth is 45 seconds corner to corner.
Beast walked for 30, did her hill a few times, then walked for 10.
She got iced, a bath then off to Serra Valley to teach Alexis.

Alexis had a great ride on Packer.
He picked up just where he left off, and looked really happy to be at it again.
His breathing was AMAZING. This horse has had the most insanely awesome response to his allergy shots!!!!!
Alexis wasn't so shabby herself! She held great position over the fences, and did a great job finding her proper canters.
I was done with horses and back home for fathers day by about 11:30

Then off to celebrate fathers day!

Today is a busy afternoon of lessons.

The new health kick is going well. Being a full vegetarian is actually pretty easy.
Mags and I are going to spend some time together before the marathon of horses begins this afternoon.

Go on with your bad self
