Yesterday!!!

It ended up being a Darenth/ Red Hawke family event at Hope Floats Farm....
Everyone had a good time and rode well.
The farm was very nice, and the people were all very friendly. My only let down was that all the rails were PVC material. While they were all lovely to look at, the horses did not get to concerned after whacking one!
Jazz is starting to look stronger, and was very relaxed. A great experience for her!

In other news, it looks like Millbrook may have boasted some tough courses. I hear that they also tried super hard with the ground but it may have still been a bit questionable for a few folks.
Friend and trainer Stephen Bradley piloted Simon (In The Fog) around his first Advanced.
Looks like he had a stop and some time, but judging by the rest of the scores, that's not to shabby.
He currently stands right behind Buck and right above Doug Payne on Dougs experienced Advanced horse Running Order.
Looks like Colleen Rutledge is just above that pack on Dillion. It also looks like Dillion put in an awesome dressage test!
Colleen currently sits 3rd on Burghley Bound Shiraz.
Sara Kozumplik climbed up from 19th after dressage, to 5th after XC boasting a double clear. Beasty's hero is her horse Manolo Blanhnik.
Local Kelley Williams put in a clear round on the Intermediate course, as expected of her and her awesome gelding Bomber.

We will see how showjumping goes. I expect all the people listed to have great rounds.

Checking out Fair Hill, another local Sheri Thornley finished second in the Open Intermediate division. She also moved up from the bottom due to her and her horses double, double clear rounds.
Alex Curtiss seems to have won her horses first Training level. She added just one rail to her dressage score of 29.6
Fair Hill divisions showed up Robin Walker's name a lot. I did my ICP courses with him and he deserves all the success he is having. A really great person.

Today is yard cleaning day at my house.
Then a busy BUSY week of lessons, a visit from family, and Waredaca!!!
Did I ever share how AMAZINGLY PERFECT my horses were with Vanessa last Thursday?
She is so awesome. Beast actually sat down and had a canter so nice I could cry. I would have except I got distracted by the little dressage instructor in the ring saying MORE MORE!
More? There is more then this? I can only imagine!
(Vanessa's dughter Courtney is pretty awesome too)
