Eventers do it in the rain.

Yesterday actually ended up being a great day!
Beasty did a trot set on the lunge while Sharon and Summer worked at the other end.
At this point it was just a light shower.
Callie was not down with the whole trot set in the rain thing. No, she didn't buck and act a fool, she just didn't want to move.
In this photo she is saying
"This is not funny"
"No really, this is so not funny."

After the girls were done, Lord Knickerbocker and I hacked. By this time it was a pretty steady heavy rain again. He required his sheet on, over me and the saddle. His skin is sensitive.
Knick was sore after his amazing go at Senneca. He is feeling much better now!

All my competition horses will flat today, despite the weather. Beasty has a schedule to stick to, and if you compete in it, you should practice in it right?

Friday is a jump clinic with Jimmy Wofford, then this weekend it our "pole painting party", and Loch Moy unrecognized!!!!!
I will be picking up our new poles on Thursday!
We already got our rind "de-dusted", and a load of blue stone. Next we have a truck load of sand coming!!!!
With our new and old jumps freshly painted, and our awesome footing, Darenth farm will be high in style!
Maybe we should have a schooling show?

Loch Moy will be fun I am sure. That facility always puts on such beautiful events.

That's all for now!
